I want to share with the world what has been a highlight of my pandemic year.
The Chosen is the first multi-season TV series about the life of Jesus. The show is not comfortable with stereotypes, neither is it impersonal or over-righteous.
Whether or not you believe in Jesus, watching it is an incredible break from violent and dark TV series everywhere. The world is depressing enough as it is. Why load our lives with more darkness?
What makes it amazing for me is that everyone has their own story, their struggles and doubt. If anything, Jesus is just a supporting character. We get to see how each person comes to terms with faith in God.
