Although I grew up in church, it was all mostly convenient fiction until I came to faith in Jesus while in university when I came across this verse: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me ( Jesus in Mark 8:34). Then I heard him say, “Follow me”. And I did. This confused me at first but life makes so much sweet sense now. Well…60% of the time.
